Our client was exiting an interstate in Las Vegas and was stopped on the exit ramp when another driver rear-ended her. The at-fault driver did not have enough insurance coverage to fully compensate our client for her injuries.
To pursue additional compensation, we opened an underinsured motorist claim under our client’s own auto insurance policy. We also explained that, under Nevada law, an insurance company cannot cancel, refuse to renew, or increase premiums when the insured was not at fault for the accident.
By pursuing the available underinsured motorist coverage, we were able to help our client recover additional compensation for her injuries.
