Our client was hit by a tow truck. The interesting part of this case was how the accident happened. While operating her vehicle, the tow truck actually backed up into our client. Given the way that the tow truck is designed in relation to the make and model of our client’s vehicle, this created a big impact on the client’s vehicle, significantly injuring our client. Most of the time, when a vehicle backs up into another vehicle, the damage is minimal, but that was not the case with this accident. In order to get the tow truck’s insurance company to truly understand the significance of the impact, we had to illustrate to the insurance company just how the vehicles collided and how our client was therefore significantly injured.
